Hannah's Life

Chapter 1
It was a typical monday, get dressed, go to school, I loved my school, mainly because of Ashley and Josh (My two best friends) but there was one problem, there was the school bully... Celia, I didn't understand why she was so mean to me. "Hannah! Time for school!" My dad shouted. I sighed
I was already dressed, I just had to go to my school now. "Bye" I smiled to my mum and dad oh and did I mention my little brother, Mathew who was staying at home since he was sick. I closed the door behind me and made my way to Ashley's house, I saw Josh walking there too, we all met up and started walking to school. We got there "So how was your weekend?" Josh smiled at both of us
"I guess it was okay, me and my cousins met up!" Ashley smiled
"Ah I just stayed at home" I laughed
Oh great, Celia walked up to us "Ha Ashley , since when did you become tinkerbell?" Celia sniggered. I looked at Ashley's clothes she was wearing an old dress she got for her 13th birthday. "Listen Seal, why don't you run off with your other friends, oh wait... you don't have any" I laughed. Ashley gave me a nudge
"Oh i'll get you back Hannah!" She frowned and walked away. "Nice" Josh giggled
"Hannah! Are you mad? She will torture us if you're not careful!" Ashley shrieked
"Ashley, it's okay, no need to be so scared, it was only a joke" I reassured her. She sighed, we walked to our lockers, we all had them together. "I really wish someone went to the prom with me, everyone has got a date... well except us three" Ashley sighed. "Ashley, remember we said we were all going together?" I asked. I looked at Josh, he was blushing.
He saw me look at him but he coughed and covered his face. "Um I better get to class" He said rushing off
"Whoa, what's up with him" I asked Ashley
"I don't know, but he was looking at you" Ashley laughed

Chapter 2
"Wait are you saying he might like me?" I asked suspiciously
"Umm why would he?" Ashley sighed. Why was Ashley like that? I thought she'd be happy for me, he might not even like me though. "Yeah I guess" I walked off to my class. I looked back and Ashley was frowning. Wait do you think Ashley might like Josh? I mean I was happy when Ashley thought Joe from when we were 6 liked her, even though I liked him. But thinking about it she'd never really cared about it that I liked him. Maybe she was just in a bad mood...

Chapter 3
I walked into Geometry class and saw Josh writing in a book, I think it was his diary. I walked to the desk that I shared with Josh, "Hey" I smiled. He quickly closed his diary
"Uh hey" He replied
"What did you have there" I laughed. He blushed
"Oh it was just a book" He answered. Miss Stone came up to us.
"Hannah, you're failing in Geometry, would you mind if Josh tutored you, I've already asked Josh and he said he wouldn't mind" She said loudly
"Okay, if it's okay with Josh" I laughed. How sweet was that of Josh, and I know his really busy after school
"Thanks" I smiled. He smiled back. After Geometry we all met up at the cafeteria. Me and Josh came in and saw Ashley, she was sitting in the corner looking at us. We walked over to her. There were only two seats "Hey Josh sit here" She smiled
"I guess I'll grab another chair then" I sighed
"No! I mean, I'm sure you can find somewhere else to sit, I think Becky and her friends would appreciate if you sat down there" Ashley said. I frowned
"If you want we could all go and sit at that table there's 3 chairs there" Josh suggested
"I'd rather not, I'm comfortable here" Ashley frowned
"Ugh, thanks a lot Ashley" I frowned
She was trying to take away Josh, so much for best friends forever. She was basically ruining our friendship just for a boy. I walked over to Becky's table.

Chapter 4
We went out to break. "Hey um Josh could I talk to you?" I asked quietly "Um no sorry, he promised he'd talk to me first" Ashley moaned. "Um Josh has a voice, no need to answer for him" I frowned
"Sure, i'll talk to you later Ashley" He decided. Ashley groaned. Me and Josh walked away, "You know before you say anything, do you know why Ashley's acting kinda weird?" Josh asked
"I think - um well I don't know for sure but I think she's jealous of something, it probably makes no sense though" I replied
"Oh,um so what were you gonna say?" He laughed
"You know this morning, when we were talking about prom?" I started
"Oh um yeah" He hesitated
"Why were - were you blushing?" I giggled
"Uhh I don't know, it's something secret" He laughed
"Oh" I smiled
"Are you still going to the prom with Ashley and well... me?" He asked shyly
"I don't know, I feel like Ashley is just trying to take you away from me - " I stopped
"Um there's something I need to ask you... do you wanna go -" He got cut off
"Josh I need to ask you something! Its really important" She pleaded
"Uh what is it?" He asked. I stood there waiting, I needed to see what Josh wanted to ask me. Wait don't you think he was gonna ask me to- before I could even think about it more, she asked the question
"Do you want to go prom with me?" She smiled. WHAT! How could she?! It was obvious! I could see this coming! Josh was actually gonna ask me to prom because he gave that look as soon as she asked him. Josh wasn't one of those guys who would hurt someone's feelings so he said "Yeah I guess"
My heart was beating so fast, it felt like my heart had been broken. I was so hurt. I stood there still, a tear dropped down my face. "Come on then" Ashley pulled Josh's arm to the bench as far away from me.

Chapter 5
I rushed back home crying. My sister, Carlie ran after me "What's up sis?" She asked
"None of your business!" I buried my head under the pillow
"Best friend trouble?" She asked
"Mhmm, It was Ashley and Josh" I cried. My sister sat on my bed. "Let me guess, something about prom right?" She guessed
"How did you know" I took the pillow off my head and sat down cross legged. "Sister stuff" She laughed
"This morning I realized Josh might have a crush on me, so I told Ashley and all of a sudden she's been acting really weird, she's tearing me and Josh away from eachother, he was gonna ask me to prom but at the last second she asked him and he said yes" I admitted
"Aww that happened to me, Tyler and Jess, in the end me and Jess just became enemies" Carlie shrugged
"What! I thought Jess was still your friend!" I exclaimed
"Nope, anyway, do you like Josh?" She asked
"Um I guess I do, I've never even thought about it" I admitted
"We have to do something about Ashley, I'm really sorry to say this but when it comes to situations like this you have to lose your best friend" Carlie sighed

Chapter 6
The next day at school
Ashley was laughing with Josh, I didn't know what to do, I started sweating seeing them together. I rushed to my locker trying to not let anyone see me. Josh came up to me "Hey, why are you avoiding us?" He asked
"I wasn't" I replied
"You didn't meet me yesterday for tutoring" Josh said
"I was in a rush" I replied.
"Do you wanna hang out with us?" Josh asked
"Well since Ashley's there, no thanks" I walked away
"Hey wait up!" He ran after me. I looked into his eyes. He looked into mine
"What's up with you? You seem all sad, do you need some cheering up?" He laughed. I nodded. He started doing funny faces. "Thanks Josh, you really know how to brighten up a day!" I laughed. Ashley came up to us.
"Josh, come" She demanded. I sighed, Josh looked at me.
"I'll be right back, you guys just talk while you're waiting" He said and walked away
"What's wrong with you?!" I frowned
"What?" She said all innocently
"Don't act like that! You deliberately stole Josh from me! You could clearly see we both liked eachother! And as soon as that happens you turn all jealous and take him away from me!" I shouted. Josh came behind me
"You - You like me?" I could see a tiny smile coming through
"Um - um fine I do!" I admitted quietly
"Um too bad me and Josh are dating!" Ashley sniggered
"What?" I asked. My heart started beating. Josh blinked
I ran away to the restroom. I couldn't believe this! A knock on the door came. I opened it, it was Josh
"Hey, I can't actually come in the restroom but I came here to try and cheer you up" He sighed
"I don't need cheering up! It's not gonna work!" I ran away.
Soon the day was over. I was starting to hate my life.

Chapter 6
A knock came on my door as soon as I got home, it was Josh
"Why are you here? To tell me more about you and Ashley?" I asked
"No actually I'm here to tutor you" He corrected me
"Now's not a good time" I frowned. He done a pleading look
I let him in "Fine but a quick tutoring session, up to my room" I said, he followed me.
He was teaching me and suddenly he stopped. He looked at me. I was writing down something but I suddenly looked up. His eyes looked so magical. "You know I think you could use a little break, here read this" He handed me that diary he was writing in at geometry. There was a page he highlighted. I read it "You've liked me since we were 10?" I smiled. He nodded "What about Ashley?" I sighed.
"I broke up with her, there's only one girl that is special to me... you" He smiled. He kissed me. This moment was so magical. "Would you wanna go to the prom with me?" He laughed
"No -" I started

Chapter 7
"No, I wouldn't like to go to the prom with you" I said, I saw Josh's face "I'd love to!" I giggled.
"Whoa that scared me!" He laughed.
"I guess I better be going" He sighed.
"Aw I'll miss you" I sighed
"I'll miss you too bye" He smiled
"I love you" I said quietly
"I love you too" He whispered back. Carlie walked into my room. Oh great "Ooh someone's got a boyfriend" She teased
"Carlie!" I laughed
"So how did you get him?" She sniggered
"He let me read his diary" I laughed. Carlie's face went blank "What?" She said all confused. I laughed.

Chapter 8
The next day at school. I walked into the school happily. Ashley glared at me. Josh was standing by his locker writing in his diary. I walked over to him "Heyy" I smiled
"Hi!" He said. I couldn't wait for prom, it was next friday! "I missed you" He laughed
"I missed you too, hey I was wondering do you maybe wanna go to the new milkshake bar?" I asked
"Sure!" He smiled. I saw Ashley frowning. Celia came up to me. "Hey uh Hannah can I talk to you?" She asked.
"Um I guess" I sighed, why did she wanna talk to me?
We walked away to a more private place, Josh waved, I waved back "Okay I know we both hate each other... but I was finding out information and I've realized... I'm your sister" She admitted

Chapter 9
"Wait... you've had foster parents all along?" I asked
"Yeah... I was put up for adoption 5 months after you were born, no one's ever liked me, even my foster parents hate me" She cried "Is that why you always bully people, just to get your feelings out?" I frowned
"I guess, I've had such a hard life" She admitted.
"As much as we hate each other we have to do something, it's not right you have to have foster parents" I exclaimed.
"Could I come round to your house today?" She smiled
"Sure!" I smiled. "See you sister" I laughed. I walked back to Josh. "Were you talking to Celia?" He laughed. I nodded
"Just some family problems" I admitted.
"Is there any tutoring today?" I asked
"I would come round, I'm really busy, can we leave it for tomorrow?" He asked
"Sure, anyway Celia's coming round today" I laughed. Celia was all alone. "Hey, do you mind if I go talk to Celia?" I asked
"Nah go ahead" He laughed. I went up to her and started talking
