The Memoir of Jacklyn.

Hey guys, this is going to be my third story. (Yes I abandoned my first one, and I'm going to finish up my second one)

Introduction ♡
Hi guys. I'm Jacklyn, but everyone calls me Jacky. I live on Fifth Avenue in New York City. My apartment is probably the fanciest on the block. As I raced home with my new friends from Hunter High School, I leaped over the imaginary finish line. As I landed on my right foot, my ankle buckled and I fell onto the concrete steps.

Chapter One ♡
"Ouch," I muttered to myself as I limped up the stairs and into the elevator with my new friends. I was used to the sharp pains that my ankle would feel if I landed on just one foot.
"Wow Jacky. I'm sooo jealous of your apartment," said Elaine.
Not trying to sound snobbish, but Fifth Avenue is the best avenue in New York City.
Five minutes later, Elaine, Cathy, and I were sprawled on the floor in my room doing our homework. Our living room had a huge chandelier that Mom bought for $600.

Chapter Two ♡
"Hold on girlss, I'll go get snacks for us," I said. I got up from the fluffy, purple rug and walked to our kitchen.
Our Kitchen:

I opened one of the cabinets. I was rewarded with what I was looking for: Holiday Oreos. I am addicted to them. According to the Jacklyn Encyclopedia, Holiday Oreos are the greatest oreos on Earth.
Holiday Oreos:

I walked back to my room with twelve oreos on a porcelain plate. Just then, the phone rang.
I picked up the phone.
"Hello?" I asked
"Is this Jacklyn?" an unfamiliar voice asked me
"Yes..." I replied

Chapter 3 ♡
"Hi Jacklyn, I'm Nathan, one of the kids in your class. I live in the apartment building next to yours..."
"Hi Nathan," I replied.
"Ooooooh it's Nathan!" Elaine squealed
Cathy snatched the phone from me and said "NATHAN! Don't come to Jacky's house otherwise she'll roast you alive!"
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Nathan hung up on us.
As the three of us went back to doing polynomials, the buzzer rang.
"Hello? Ms. Jacklyn? There is a young man from Apartment B that is waiting at your door," said the doorman.
I opened the door and Nathan came into our living room. Elaine and Cathy started screaming at him. I caught phrases like "WHY ARE YOU HERE??" and "Ugh. I see that you didn't change. You're still very weird looking,"
Mom called and I shouted at them to be quiet. If Mom heard them, then I would be in big trouble.
"Jacky, why is there screaming??" Mom urgently asked me
"Uhh...I invited some people over..." I stuttered.
"WHY JACKY, WHY??" Mom screeched into her phone.

Chapter 4 ♡
"Sorry Mom, but I made new friends today," I say brightly.
"Really? That's great," Mom actually sounded happy "aww Jacky, I have to go now, bye,"
I put my android away and turned around. Nathan was being attacked by pillows.
"STOP! Otherwise you will never come back here!" I shouted.
Elaine and Cathy stopped. Fortunately, the feathers in the pillows were still there and there wasn't much damage.

Chapter 5 ♡
Nathan went home with a ton of bruises. As Elaine, Cathy, and I continued our homework, we ate holiday oreos that survived the fight.
"Um..guys..What's wrong with Nathan?" I asked
"He's the funniest-looking guy ever and he was in our class since 1st grade," Cathy explained.
Just then, Mom walked in.
"Hi girls!" Mom said brightly "Do your parents know where you are?"
"Of course, we texted them earlier," replied Cathy. Did I mention that Cathy and Elaine are twins?

Chapter 6 ♡
Today is the first day of my tutor. I had to leave at 5:53 PM to get to class at 7:00 PM.
My English tutor is Ms. Cincotta. She droned on and on about nouns, pronouns, and adverbs.
Finally, at 9:00 PM, class was over. The sun was still out, so the boys in my tutor class and I decided to race. As I crossed the imaginary finish line, I landed on my right foot and felt that sharp pain again. I fell down onto the ground.

Chapter 7 ♡
Of course, I won the race. The boys, jealous because of how fast I run, keep betting who would win the next race. Of course I would.
My birthday is coming up in a couple of...you guessed it...months. It is the worst day ever. Right on Christmas.
In my former middle school, I was known as Jacky the Christmas tree. The only good thing about it was that I got double presents. Last year, somebody gave me 24 presents.

Chapter 8 ♡
I decided to go shopping at the BABW not too far from my house. Cathy came by, but Elaine was at the drama club. Too bad Hunter didn't have a track-and-field club.
I went there late, so I just went back home. No biggie. I needed to go outdoors.

Chapter 9 ♡
Halloween is in a couple of weeks! As my parents were arguing about some grown-up thing, I walked to Abercrombie and Fitch. It is located on 720 Fifth Avenue.

Chapter 10 ♡
As I walked there, I saw Helena, Marianne, and Eileen.
"Hi Helena, Marianne, and Eileen," I said.
"Ew. Jack-o-lantern is here," Helena said as she wrinkled her nose.
"Ew. She's here," echoed Marianne.
Eileen looked at me with pity, but when the other girls started talking, she quickly looked at me with disgust. I thought that I'd imagined that look of pity.

Chapter 11 ♡
"Jack-o-lantern, you don't belong here. You are so babyish and you STILL go to Build-A-Bear Workshop??" Helena shook her head, mock pitying me.
"So? Abercrombie and Fitch is open to public, you know?" I retorted.
"Well at least I don't go to Build-A-Bear Workshop, like losers," Helena said.
No she did not say that. Build-A-Bear is the best place in the world.
"Helena, I think I saw you go into Build-A-Bear," Eileen said in my defense.
"BE QUIET EILEEN. I could kick you out of our club, cause you didn't prove yourself yet," Helena practically screamed "And besides, the last time I went there was when I was 6!!"
"Um Helena? You know you went to Build-A-Bear in sixth grade...I saw you leave that place with six bears and you were bragging to us about your new bears..." said Marianne.

Chapter 12 ♡
Helena, red faced and breathing madly, stomped away. Marianne and Eileen glanced at each other and went off on their separate ways. I started walking to A & F but then turned around. I didn't like A & F anyway.
As I walked home, I thought about our conversation. I felt bad because I made Helena's friends ditch her.

Chapter 13 ♡
Elaine and Cathy are at my house. I invited them over for dinner, since it was supposed to be the end of the world today. We sat in our dining room, waiting for Mom and Dad to get all of the food out.

I can't believe that it is almost Christmas. There are three days left! As Mom and Dad went shopping crazy, I started editing our Christmas card.

I finally finished editing the card and I started to print 50 copies. I got the envelopes and stamps ready.
