All She wants to do is dance.

When You looked at Nicolette Adella, you saw a cute, intelligent, cheery, little girl.Nobody ever dared to ask her what she thought. We all knew. Dance. That's all she wanted to was dance.Constantly. We said this everyday, until one day when she couldn't. It all started a few months ago.


"It's positive Mrs. Adella."
Nicolette heard her mom talking to the doctor. Nicolette put her face in her hands and tried to hide the tears. Suddenly the door opened. A nice, smiling, doctor shook her hand.
"So, Nicolette. I am very sorry to tell you some bad news."

I shook my head and tried not to believe it. I took the doctors hand and said,
"Are you positive? Like, really positive?"
"Yes. We have done so much and there is nothing we can do now but try to cure you."
I began to cry.
"Okay. But try really hard."
I was a 14 year old gurl. And I was confused. Sad. miserable. Wanted to dance. I have been in the hospital for weeks and they finally confirmed what I had. Cancer. I've always heard stories of this. I was sad. But, as always I was strong.

"We will. You will just need to be excused from dance and school....for..."
I paused and screamed so hard.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN EXCUSED FROM DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!!! NO I CANNOT ACCEPT THIS! THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR ME!! HONEY CHILD NOOO!!!!!" I didn't relieze until later how loud I screamed when a nurse came in an told me to be quiet because some elder was napping.
