Haai(: Ok, so I decided I wanted to write a story! ;3 So it's completely fictional. (Sorry if some of the things are wrong about the USA, Idk much about it and I'm in the UK) Enjoy! (:

CHAPTER 1:
Hi. I'm Alyssa. This is my diary, and if ANYONE apart from me touches it they will be dead. So watch out. Let me tell you about myself. I'm called Alyssa (as you know), I'm 12 and I live in England, London. I live for acting and being the star of the show. I'm always in them! My dream is to go on Broadway.... But my brother always goes on and says 'That's never gonna happen.' I just ignore him.... I WILL be on Broadway, I have to.

CHAPTER 2:
How am I going to be a big actress and a big star, you ask? Well.... I don't EXACTLY know yet. I have to be in shows and make sure everyone sees me in shows. Then it will just build up and I'll be bigger, I'll go to the USA and audition or whatever for Broadway. I'll do lots of shows and everyone will see me. Next thing l know, I'll be in films!

CHAPTER 3:
'Bye, mum! I'm going to school now!' I hugged my mum and ran out the door to catch the bus.
When I got to school I went over to Talia.
'Oh, hey Talia!' I waved crazily to my best friend.
'School is so boring, I wish I could replace school for drama lessons.' I moaned to Talia who was staring into her maths book doing sums.
'Hmmm.' she mumbled, not taking in anything I said. I just laughed.
'Oh, we've got to go to class now!' I said as I ran off to my classroom.

CHAPTER 4:
After lunch was assembly. Great. I hate assemblies. Anyway, I tried my best to look smart as always, for our headmaster, Mr. Cooper, he's so strict! I expected the assembly to be B.O.R.I.N.G! But I was wrong. It was the best assembly ever. It was amazing, I heard just great words. I know, that sounded weird. Let me get to the point. Let me just tell you what our headmaster said:
'We will be hosting auditions for a play which you have to make up in a team.
What you have to do if you want to be a part of this: Come to the audition with at least a group of 4 people and do a short play. Then, the people who get through will have to make a bigger play up. At the end they will all perform this to the whole school and the judges will decide. Please only do this if you're going to make a effort and really do like acting. The prize is a secret for now, but it will include you getting on the career track of acting.'
'Hmmm, getting on the career track of acting? Wow. I better be in this. I just need some friends then we can get practicing!' I thought to myself, smiling and sitting up tall. Talia and Sydney (Sydney's my other friend) looked at me.
I smiled a cheesy grin back. I had a perfect idea.

CHAPTER 5:
We got out of assembly and I felt so excited and happy. I started chatting ALREADY to Talia, Sydney, Sophie and Katie, planning what we should do for the audition, not giving a care what they thought and I didn't even ask if they were doing it. They seemed like they didn't care anyway, they just mumbled and went 'Yeah.' or 'Mm.' so I thought it was all good. It put me off in class as well for the rest of that day and I got told off a few times because I was day-dreaming but I didn't care. At home I went on and on about it to my parents, my brother (he ignored me), and even my kitten! That night I tossed and turned. Wait. Something struck me. Ava Fox...

CHAPTER 6:
Ok, let me tell you about Ava Fox. She LOVES acting and is VERY competitive especially if I'm competing against her. I gotta admit that she's pretty good. She has won a lot of awards and has been in a lot of shows, too. All the time she is going on and on, bragging about what shows she's going to be in or what famous people she's worked with or met. It really annoys me. But even worse, she hates me! And I bet she'll audition. I gotta get my game up! I'll get my friends round tomorrow and we can plan.

CHAPTER 7:
I woke up feeling a bit down, but I got out of bed and rushed to get to school. I had 'a face like thunder' according to my mum. That wasn't good. I tried to look happy but my friends noticed I was sad. 'What's up, Alyssa?' asked Sydney.
'It's Ava Fox, she's gonna compete against me for the show contest thing. You know, she's such a competitive person.' I whispered, frowning.
'Oh.... well she's won a lot of awards and stuff, but I know for a fact you're better!' Sydney assured me.
'Eugh, speaking of which, here she comes...' I turned my head round to her.
Sydney looked too.
'Right, class, good morning! Time for History.' said my teacher, getting out her books.
