Hunter's alarm went of at 6:30 am. Hunter would usually groan and press snooze but today was a VERY special day. Today was cheerleading tryouts and Hunter was waiting all year for this. She was going to try out for cheerleading and hopefully become cheer captain. Every other year in middle school Hunter was the cheer captain of the cheerleading team both seasons for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade and now she's finally in high school. Maybe other girls can get her spot at being captain. But Hunter felt confident. She put on her skinny jeans, boyfriend tea, and flats and managed to straighten her hair and catch the bus. 'here we go' though Hunter.

Chapter 2: I finally got through the school day. This is it. This is the real deal, thought Hunter. Hunter's best friend,Shane and her were heading to the work-out room for cheer try outs. Even though Hunter was 15, she had butterflies in her stomach walking in. As she walked in her heart sank. She saw girls twice her height doing splits and hanging upside down. Omigod thought Hunter. I won't make being cheer captain!
Next day~ Hunter was nearly jumping out of her skin on the bus ride to school. On the school website lays the precious details that Hunter needed to know. A.) If she got onto the cheer team and B.) if she was lucky enough if she was cheer captain. She ran into the school library logged onto the website, and OMIGOD!... you'll never believe the results.
