Remember when.....

2008-2009

Remember when Bearville used to be called Buildabearville?

Remember when everyone didn't care much about rare things?

Remember when nobody cared about trading and played with friends all the time?

Remember how the old bvo shop looked before it got changed?

Remember when the old Carnival was at pawforming arts center area?

Remember when we used to collect fountain items?

Remember when everyone wanted maxine bear slippers?

Remember when everyone went to different dens instead of just one den which is Bear Boulevard?

Remember when we all had instant chat because everyone wasn't following the rules in the safe open chat and it finally got changed back to safe open chat?

Remember when there wasn't a haunted house for halloween and the Kooky Spooky Bearbash used to be in the Barn at Farm?

Remember when the very first chloe show when the show gave out either hip hop move or upside down move?

Remember when rides didn't exist until the bvo store was changed?

remember when there was no bbn?

remember when they first opened bvo and it was Bear boutique?

remember when they first opened sunshine shores and we voted for a name for it?

remember when the pawsitively green center opened and we waited for so long so that we could go inside?

remember when there was no arrows or expansions on the map?

remember when they had three bars that had the countries on them and you picked one of the three to log in?

remember when there were no classes at the bearville U?

remember when they used to have camp at meadow and cave?

remember when cave was not the dog park??

remember when it took half-an-hour for bv to load?

remember when bv first opened?

aaaahhh 2007 bearville... you were a dream.... and a nightmare...

I joined the very beginning also, I remember my mom getting an e-mail saying that they were making a new virtual world. My mom signed up to let her know when it was open. I remember how excited I was. I do miss the old times...

of coarse i remember i had my account FOREVER lol i have the hip hop move from 2008. i remember everything!! remember when there was no beary wood mall. no bank .the sportsplex was a 1 story building. there weren't Jr cyber guides. no secret rooms. the cave was normal , no dog park. no light house or watch room. no beachfront homes no ski lodge homes. no video game for babv. no sandy bear island. and everyone didn't care about bunny glasses,bbl,furry boots,pink hands, and most of all....... Rareness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i joined in december 15, 2007, and i miss the good times! i wish they didn't change the site! and i miss the bearbash at the farm so much! i wish we had the old bearville back:(

Yeah I think the thing that changed the most was TRADING. Everyone does it now. I mean when I used to go into babw no one was there. Literally! I wish we could go back to just hanging out with friends and having a good time. Maybe we could someday.

I agree, when I first came into Buildabearville nobody was even there! it was really quiet. I remember the first bear I got and it was the really old tropical hello kitty which came with a tropical hello kitty shirt. Like you said, I sure wish that Bearville can be like it used to be when you didn't trade much and you were spending most of the time with your friends.

remember the way the old bvo used to look?

remember when the beachfronts and snow homes weren't there?
remember how the north pole would open and people would get excited but now some people don't care?
remember when bunny glasses weren't that rare?
remember the way the old buildabearville site used to look with the games, bears, and other fun stuff?

... i got my first bear before build-a-bearville came out:D she was like milk swirl bear or something.. idk. but my mom got me her for christmas 2006 and i sooooooooooo happy with it!!! i loved her so much(the bear) and then me and my sis found out about build-a-bear and she went and got a bear and then we joined babv when it first came out:D we both loved it and got a lot of old bears including the old gem of a friend bears... i got two and she got two Very Happy

she quit(my sis) but i still got on bv every day..............
