I'm still pretty new to this site and just yesterday I noticed that I don't have the best reputation and I don't know why? How do you get positive or negitive reputaions?

you see the + and - (in red) on the right next to what i just posted? if you click the "+" i would be "raised in rep". if you click the "-" i would be "lowered in rep".
