Getting Braces in about 4-6 months..

I am getting braces in about 4-6 months... i am really scared about getting them cause my dentist said a few months ago that i needed them but he doesnt know when but he guess in about 4-6 months, i just wanted advice that i can remember and know more about braces, i am nervous about how it will feel getting them on and getting them off but i am getting them soon though. so i need some advice (: please post (;

don't worry. its going to be fine. just don't eat hard stuff for a while. i'm getting mine off so i'm so excited! eat pasta and stuff

ok (: thanks for the advice.. but any more tips about like getting them tightened and stuff should i ice my cheek where they get tightened when they start to hurt? or stuff like that..?

eat soft foods, i have never had them, but one of my closest friends has them now. take ibiprofen or whatever pain med. works for you. she said the pain wasn't maor, it was normal. hope i helped!

It's kinda hard to eat meat and stuff like that but when u get braces it won't even hurt one bit

my BFF had them she said it doesn't hurt that much. well at first it will be sore and you gotta eat soft food. but after like 3-4 months you can pretty much eat anything, you will get used to it and you can barely notice its there!

i might also get them im seeing orthodontist soon i want them because i want straight perfect teeth its a few years paying of for your life don't worry

I don't have braces but a 'Pallet Expander' it expands my mouth for braces and to eat bigger foods I suggest that you dount mess with your tounge and that may be hard I know, but you just have to do it good luck it won't hurt at all.

My bff has braces and she said it didn't hurt getting them on but after she was in alot of pain. And she said the first couple weeks she couldn't eat much. So yar all i know lol
