I need iPod help!!

So the other day i cracked my ipod. Though i've cracked it before, this crack was really messed up.it looks much lighter and less noticeable then the rest of my cracks but it seems to be the most powerful. after i noticed it had a crack, i tried to use it and realized the whole side of my screen didnt workk. i can barely slide to unlock it and i cant touch any of my apps that are in the last row. has anyone else had this problem? Im gonna take it to the p[lace in my mall to get it fixed but im still confused about what will happen.

the surface between the glass and electronics must of malfunctioned i guess,
if you just take it to the apple store they'll fix it :p.

So, no matter how big a crack, apple can fix it? o; i have a crack in my phone and its bothering me so much .-.
